Mary Ann (Bocchetti) DeCarlo

DeCarlo, Mary Ann (Bocchetti), of East Boston, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 25, 2024.

Beloved wife of the late Anthony DeCarlo.

Loving daughter of the late Carmelo and Louisa (Nardozzi) Bocchetti.

Devoted mother of Mary Fronduto and husband Vincent, and the late Anthony DeCarlo Jr. and surviving wife Lynda DeCarlo.

Cherished grandmother of Jennifer Aguirre and husband Edmund, Jessica Fronduto, Elizabeth St. Andre and husband Thomas, Joshua DeCarlo and wife Maeghan.

Adored great-grandmother of Tommy and Vincent St. Andre and Gianna DeCarlo.

Also survived by her many loving nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will honor Mary's life by gathering at the Ruggiero Family Memorial Home, 971 Saratoga Street, East Boston, on Monday, April 29th from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. and again on Tuesday morning at 8:30 before leaving in procession to Sacred Heart Parish, East Boston, for a funeral Mass celebrating her life at 10:00 A.M. Services will conclude with Mary being laid to rest with her beloved husband, Anthony, at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. May they rest in peace.

Mary was an avid Red Sox fan. Every morning, she enjoyed coffee and an egg McMuffin from her favorite place McDonalds. In her spare time, she would do color by numbers on her iPad while snacking on chips, life saver mints or her favorite any chocolate candy bar she could find. She also enjoyed the company of her cats Archie and Scoops, while also enjoying time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
